Credits/ECTS :
Master in Chemistry and Bio-industries, Professional Focus, 2nd yearFirst semester2
Master in Forests and natural Areas Engineering, Professional Focus, 1st yearFirst semester2
Holder(s) :
Language :  French language
Course contents :  To better understand the interactions between living organisms (plants and insects), experiments in mentoring will be set up and conducted in order to find an answer to a scientific question regarding the interactions between plants and insects, or between several species of insects

After the results analysis, a report in form of scientific publication will be realized
Course objective :  Report on recent advances in the field of biotechnology in crop protection against pests
After completing the course the student is expected to
-demonstrate skills in understanding molecular and biological mechanisms in connection with the interactions plants/insects and insects/insects
-master the methods of PCR, proteomics, chromatography (HPLC, GC,...), electroantennography, electropenetrography...
