Course objective :  Give the students the ability to analyse the food insecurity of a given situation by teaching different methodologies applies operationaly in several developing countries. The student will make himself/herself familiar with some tools for specific analyses or monitoring of the food insecurity.
Prerequisites :  
  • Notions of remote sensing, climatology and agrometeorology
  • Basic knowledge of statistics
Workshops :  Learning AGROMETSHELL, FAOCLIM and NEWLOCLIM

Exercise of yield forecasting on data from a developing country
