The evolution of the main variants of capitalism is studied through economic integration and the control and behaviour of enterprises; through the various economic functions of the state; and through the place and role of the third sector (social economy). The evolution and rapid transformation of the socialist regimes of the former USSR and Central and Eastern European countries make up the last part of the course.
Course objective :  Introduction to the comprehension of fundamental mechanisms of contemporary economic regimes.
Prerequisites :  None.
Organization :  Two-hour lessons (lectures).
The student must complement the lectures by the in-depth and structured reading of a "collection of texts" proposing illustrations and complementary points of view on the themes studied during classes.
