| Course contents : | This course is made up of two interconnected parts: estate law and liberalities. The main goal is to go into detail of the legal rules studied during the lecture of the First Master in Law: an introduction to decedent"s estate law and liberalities. The subject matter, especially over decedent"s estate law, is studied from hung juries, commentaries of the doctrine and practical situations. The lecture is useful for the study of successoral planning or registration duties. |

| Course objective : | The purpose of the course is to bring an answer to the main important questions and mostly to suggest a case method for the resolution of the problem over decedent"s estate law and liberalities. The lecture is a significant pre-necessary in fiscal law. |

| Prerequisites : | A good knowledge of the course "Obligations theory and contracts" and "Introduction to inheritances and gifts".
A recal of the two courses is provided during the lectures. |

| Organization : | The course aims at solving practical exercises. |
 |
| Written notes : | Written notes are available regularly. Theses notes contain theoretical development and the resolution of the exercises.
A Civil Code is necessary as weil as a calculator. |

| Assessment : | The examination will be in May or June and will be made up of a practical exercise. |
