Course contents :  We focus on black letter Law. The main part is Town and Country Planning Law And, when needed, related matters as Natura 2000, Cultural heritage, Soil pollution, Takings. We also have a glance at the State Real Estate Law. Main chapters: Planning, permits, information, sanction, compensation for regulatory takings.
Course objective :  The aim of the course is to give the student the knowledge of real estate administrative law so that he or she could practice as a legal consultant in that field.
Prerequisites :  Const. Law and Adm. Law (Bac.)
Workshops :  Cases are discussed during the lectures
Organization :  Mainly ex cathedra.
Second term course.
Friday afternoon. See the schedule on the website.
Written notes :  Papers for students are now updated and will be ready in time. The neverending need of updating makes the attendance quite advisable.


Legal materials are the Code wallon de l'aménagement du territoire, de l'urbanisme du patrimoine et de l'énergie (updated)). Case Law is also important and the main cases will be highlighted.
Assessment :  Participation in the course is fostered.
Written exam based on practice with documentation
