Course contents :  This course is devoted to the study of the principal techniques of search for mathematical documentation (use of encyclopaedias, of search engines, of bibliographical data bases, of catalogues of libraries) and to a training to the writing and the encoding into LaTeX of mathematical texts and their bibliographies.
Course objective :  To make so that the students become able to find by themselves a list of references on a given mathematical subject and to quickly locate the works quoted in this list in paper or electronic form. To train them to write mathematical texts and bibliographies.
Workshops :  Exercises of search of documentation and of localization of works in the library. Exercises of writing of mathematical texts and bibliographic records.
Organization :  The course follows the official schedule given to the students at the beginning of the academic year.
Written notes :  Lecture notes will be distributed to the students during the course.
Assessment :  Before the session, the students will have to complete a personal work of a few pages on a mathematical subject requiring the use of the techniques of information retrieval presented in the course.

A written examination on the matter of the course will take place in session.

The final note will be based on the results obtained during these evaluations.
