Course contents :  The course starts with an analysis of the violent behaviors in varied circumstances of the social life: family, school, public transport, spare-times activities. The course develops then less usual topics: political and religious violence, organized crime, war crimes and genocides.

One seeks to understand:

the limits between the normal and the pathological,
the obedience to the authority,
the weight of the personality or the social criconstances
the influence of the medias and the crowds
Course objective :  - to analyze the evolutions of the forms of violence (theoretical approach)

- to identify the individual, psychological, social, moral, political factors which produce violences

- to understand the importance of the environment

- to understand the reactions of the victims of violence and to know the current means of treatment
Prerequisites :  2 lic criminology

2 & 3 lic psychology
