Course contents :  This workshop aims to train students in capturing the 'real' and its theatrical establishment (notably through the analysis of documentary films screened during class).
As a workshop, this course consists of supervising the scriptwriting and directing of a short documentary film on a given theme and fulfilling the requirements given.
Course objective :  At the end of the workshop, students will be familiar with reality scriptwriting techniques and directing a documentary film.
Prerequisites :  Having followed the various cinema theory and analysis courses and documentary videos, in order to havea good knowledge of documentary scripts.
Workshops :  Drafting a project, scriptwriting and directing a documentary film of around ten minutes in length. The practical work carried out by each student will be the main subject of the workshop.
Organization :  Regarding the technical aspects of the work (scenes, montage), students can benefit from the logistical and pedagogical aid of LICAM (Laboratoire d'Information et de Communication Audiovisuelles et Multimedia).
