| Course contents : | This theoretical course aims at laying out the foundations of the aesthetic approach to cinema eand more largely to images. It relies on a collection of historical texts (some twenty texts from various times and various countries) and discusses key issues such as art/magic, device/imagination, time/space, figure/motif, etc. |
