Course contents :  Thematic seminars presented by specialized scientists on emerging instrumentations, analysis of VOCs, hyphenated techniques, additional information on chromatography, analytical method validation and laboratory certification according to normalized methods and GLP rules.
Critical review of selected up-to-date analytical papers, seminar preparation and presentation of new laboratory practices.
Course objective :  To tackle some modern methods of analysis which are not in use in our Unit, to supplement and to update some learning already set out in the course (1st Master) and to implement the notion of quality in the analytical chemistry laboratory.
After completing the course the student is expected to
- demonstrate its ability to exhaustively investigate a new protocol of analysis;
- conceive and present a thematic seminar related to a new analytical method;
- become more familiar with specific analytical methods and Quality Assurance.
