| Course objective : | The aim of these lectures is to teach students with fundamentals in biochemistry, i.e. 1) the structure of biological (macro)molecules, namely proteins, nucleic acids, lipids and carbohydrates; 2) their organization and function; 3) their metabolism. Emphasis will be given on the application of basic chemical principles in the life sciences. |
