Course contents :  The different types of noncovalent interactions (electrostatic, hydrogen bonding, hydrophobic, van der Waals, stacking...), particular characterization methods, structure-thermodynamic relationships.

Examples of application in biology (relationship between folding, interactions, and regulation), pharmacology (structure-activity relationships), supramolecular chemistry (designer noncovalent assemblies), analytical chemistry (sensors),....
Course objective :  The objective of the course is to serve as a guide in the vast recent literature related to noncovalent interactiosn and supramolecular chemistry
Prerequisites :  Physical chemistry (3rd year)
Organization :  Master and PhD students who would like to follow the course must register by October. The agenda (7 x 2h) will be decided with all participants.
Written notes :  Copy of the slides. List of key review/tutorial articles.
