| Course contents : | Study of the biological explorations used in various pathologies such as cardiovascular diseases, obesity and diabetes, bone markers and osteoporosis, tumor markers, autoimmunity, inflammation,... |

| Course objective : | This course follows upon the course of " Elements of clinical chemistry ". It gives additional information on laboratory tests useful for assessing and monitoring diseases affecting a significant part of the population, for example obesity and diabetes. |

| Prerequisites : | Elements of Clinical chemistry - 3rd BAC. |

| Workshops : | Type: Handling + demonstrations, 3 to 4 sessions (afternoon) in the 2nd four-month period. |

| Organization : | Course given during the 1st four-month period (from the 6th week). |

| Written notes : | Copies of the projected boards and notes of course. |

| Assessment : | Written examination. |
