Course contents :  Synthesis of nano- and divided materials. Study of their structure. Shaping. Properties expected by the final user. Relation between the preparation process of a material and its final performances through its structure and physico-chemical properties. Possible processes for the manufacture and the shaping at an industrial scale.
Course objective :  The course aims at examining questions that arise during the development of large scale manufacture processes of nano- or finely divided materials and presenting possible technical solutions.
Prerequisites :  Chemistry and physics courses of the first cycle.
Workshops :  Synthesis and caracterization of a nanomaterial in the laboratory.
Organization :  Lectures: 15h - Laboratories: 15h.
Second quadrimestre.
Written notes :  Copy of slides.
Assessment :  Work in laboratory and report: 40% of the final note.
Final oral exam: 60% of the final note.
