Course contents :  Stability applied to a project:
Direct relationship between the student and one or more structural engineers, in terms of the choices and structural direction of the project.
"Critical" and constructive discussion to encourage students to master the (static) structure and operation of their projects.
Course objective :  
  • Awareness of and approach to preliminary design.
  • Relevance of the choice and structural "accuracy".
  • Participating in a dialogue with a structural engineer.
Prerequisites :  Course in stability from the first four years (bases).
Organization :  
  • Presentation (during workshops) on the proposed themes.
  • Monitoring and intervention during workshops.
  • Applied exercises (in parallel).
Assessment :  Assessment of the coherence of constructive and structural principles applied to the architectural workshop project. Assessment carried out simultaneously with the end of year jury.
