| Course contents : | Revision and extension of the 1st cycle course - 1st year:
- analysis of isostatic structures through graphic and analytical procedures;
- revising the concepts of force, moment, reduction, balance, determining internal constraints;
- concept of internal balance;
- articulated truss (Crémona, Ritter method)
Introduction to stability course:
- centre of gravity;
- moment of inertia;
- traction, compression, flexion;

| Course objective : | Follow-up to the Graphostatic Mechanics 1 course: graphic visualisation and mathematical control of balance and the division of internal stress in isostatic structures. |

| Prerequisites : | Concepts acquired during the Mechanics 1 course. |

2/3 of time in practical tutorials. |
