| Course contents : | This course follows the courses in the 2nd year of the 2nd cycle.
Several research themes are addressed, each following different methods or levels of approach:
- The theoretical approach: reflection, slideshows, documentation, reading
- Observation, expression, composition through putting a methodological exercise into practice, creative research, freehand drawing, modelling, scale models ...
Work on research, reproduction, interpretation and large-scale architectural translation of a two-dimensional document (photos, reproduction of images). |

| Course objective : | This optional course, which is an extension of the Study of Forms and Architecture has as its main objective the development of students' expressive abilities from an "organic" approach to architecture. This term refers to a specific trend whose initial affirmations contribute to the history of this subject. It is characterised by a certain desire for formal expression of enthusiasm and above all freedom in creation. |

| Prerequisites : | Classes on Architecture and the Study of Form from the first two years of the degree programme. |

| Organization : | This course is presented as a research laboratory on form and a place for posing questions, where teaching staff are there simply to help students find their own way, providing the environment for them to express their creative enthusiasm in an uninhibited manner. |
