| Course contents : | Students from the 2nd Masters have the choice of linking the six ECTS from this option either with their architectural project or with their final piece of work; it constitutes an extension of this. In both cases, the work related to the option is complementary but independent. The choice of theme is left to the student, in agreement with the course leader. It can involve a theoretical study or a practical application. |

| Course objective : | Implementing and appropriating the theoretical skills acquired during the 1st Masters. |

| Prerequisites : | Courses on history of architecture, philosophy, technology and the conservation option from the 1st Masters. |

| Organization : | Depends upon the theme chosen by the student.
For 18 weeks, students in this course meet for four hours per week to present to the teaching staff and the other students how their research is progressing. Depending on needs, classes or lectures can be occasionally organised. |
