Course contents :  Study of drainage
  • drainage network;
  • urban waste management;
  • treatment of residual domestic water;
  • general rules relating to the evacuation of water;
  • diagrams;
  • calculating the diameter of evacuation and ventilation pipes + examples;
  • sewage pipes: cast iron, stoneware, synthetic materials;
  • fitting and connecting pipes;
  • inspection panels and equipment;
  • pathology: sewage odours, foam backlog.
Carpentry
  • role and function of the window;
  • exterior wood joinery;
  • exterior aluminium and PVC joinery;
  • shutters;
  • glazing.
Course objective :  The course on the technology of construction aims to study materials and their characteristics as well as methods of implementing them.
Technology forms an architect's technical know-how.
It allows us to develop a piece of work where the technique of construction is the means of producing the desired architectural result. The technology of construction is an indispensable tool for those wishing to design.
Prerequisites :  Scientific and technical courses from 1B, 2B, 3B.
