Course contents :  Several research themes will be addressed, each following different methods or level of approach:
  • Theoretical approach: reflection, slideshows, documentation, reading
  • Observation, expression, composition through practical methodological exercise(s), creative research, freehand drawing, modelling, scale models ...
Research work, reproduction, interpretation and translation of an "architectural volume" of a two-dimensional document (photos, reproduction of tables).
Course objective :  This optional course, extending the Study of Forms and Architecture, has as its main aim the development of students' expressive abilities from an "organic" perspective on architecture. This term refers to a specific trend, the first examples of which can be seen in history. It is characterised by a certain desire for the formal expression of style and above all freedom in creation.
Prerequisites :  The course in Architecture and Study of Forms in the first two years.
Organization :  This course takes the format of a research laboratory on form and a place to pose questions, where teaching staff are there only to help students find their own way, and unleash their creative style in a completely unhindered manner.

Assessment :  Practical work assessed on the basis of an oral presentation (minimum three times)
