| Course contents : | The overall thermal design of a building requires an understanding of the physical phenomena relating to heat and vapour transfer. The subject goes beyond the questions of insulation and K55 calculations, involving the building in its climatic environment. The concepts of bioclimatic architecture raise students' awareness of the environmental problems linked to the consumption of fossil fuels. Thermal problems are submitted to students in the form of exercises and resolved in groups. A complete calculation of the global thermal insulation coefficient is carried out by each student on a personal project carried out during the year. Students will familiarise themselves with the terminology and acquire the "reflexes" linked to hygrothermal phenomena in humid air. |
 |
| Course objective : | Understanding of hygrothermal phenomena relating to the strategy of bioclimatic architecture, with the aim of integrating these into the projects proposed in the workshop.
At the end of the course, students will be able to carry out the K55 (NBN B 62-002) calculation and Be (net energy requirements - NIT 155) |
