Course contents :  The Workshop-Project course is at the very heart of training for future landscape architects, both because it is the foundation for theoretical knowledge and as an introduction to practicalities of the project.
The programme is designed to allow all students, regardless of their prior training and their personal interests, to acquire not only a knowledge of landscape architecture, but also to contribute to their intellectual openness and to sharpen their critical skills.
The project developed within the workshop is based on an overall site which is approached through four levels:
1. The sensory approach Approaching the site as a whole, and sensory reading. Models, sensory maps, drawing ...
2. Morphological and structural approach Analytical reading of the site, identification of structural lines Cartography, sections, drawing ...
3. The linear approach Identification of sequences, connections, dynamics Understanding interactions in context Analysis and conceptual development of a sequence. Plans, sections, drawing ...
4. The timely approach Conceptual development of a place Establishing a personal way of expressing a concept Plans, sections, drawing ...
Course objective :  - To identify and acquire the tools required for reading and describing from space to place. - To identify the means of structuring and representing space. - To gradually acquire an approach and communication tools for projects.
Prerequisites :  No pre-requisites
Workshops :  The workshop course is essentially based on practical work
