| Course contents : | The course addresses the essential elements of spatial composition (FORM and SPACE) through the in-depth study of different examples. As well as providing an introduction to buildings, this approach teaches students to see, feel and analyse all architectural creation through the experience and study of a few broad principles of composition.
During the last two sessions, students will themselves carry out practical work analysing a chosen building.
This course is a tool which will introduce students to reflection and experimentation, to be continued through the architecture workshops. |
