| Course contents : | General objective: at the end of the first year of the Baccaleaureat, students will be able to graphically represent the details and links between different constructed systems in the projects which they will carry out in the architectural project workshop, demonstrating respect for drawing conventions.
Specific objective: various pieces of practical work will help students to understand the different tools available to them: free-hand scale drawings, drawing with instruments, and using computer aided drawing tools (CAD). Students are free to explore one or more approaches.
Evaluation criteria: are based on the graphic quality of documents presented (rigour, care, precision), added value in terms of respect for the conventions of representation, analytical ability as demonstrated through the evolution of students' analysis of different technical details taken from typical documents through to the presentation of a personal analysis adapted to their own architecture project.
The course also consists of demonstrating that technology is not an end in itself but is a necessary means for to achieve coherence, rigour and performance. Good technology serves form and function. |
