Course contents :
Physiopathology - anaesthesia-intensive care technology

Review of cardiocirculatory, respiratory, neuro-cerebral, renal, digestive and neuro-muscular physiology.
Description of the particularities of the fact that this physiology pertains to a person with a surgical process, under general or regional anesthesia; in the supine position.

Techniques of locoregional anaesthesia, 2nd year

Survey of the techniques which involve administration of local anesthetics (and adjuvants) locally, loco-regionally, to plexi, neuropially and epidurally to block afferent stimulation of the central nervous system.

Anaesthesia and Intensive care applied to particular cases : child, pregnant woman, old people, diagnostic and/or therapeutic intervention, day hospital, ...

Series of lectures focused on the pathophysiologic particularities which require specific adaptation in the administration of anesthetic agents, and the specific monitoring modalities adapted for these patients.

Course objective :
Physiopathology - anaesthesia-intensive care technology

Higerlight the pathophysiologic particularities of a person with a surgical process, under general or regional anesthesia; in the supine position.

Techniques of locoregional anaesthesia, 2nd year
