Course contents :
Physiopathology and technology of anaesthesia-intensive care

Review of cardiocirculatory, respiratory, neuro-cerebral, renal, digestive, metabolic, neurovegetative and neuromuscular physiology. Description of the particularities of the fact that this physiology pertains to a person with a surgical process, under general or regional anesthesia; in the supine position

Techniques of locoregional anaesthesia, 1st year

Survey of the techniques which involve administration of local anesthetics (and adjuvants) locally, loco-regionally, to plexi, neuropially and epidurally to block afferent stimulation of the central nervous sytem.

Anaesthesia and Intensive Care applied to particular cases : child, pregnant woman, old people, diagnostic and/or therapeutic intervention, day hospital, ... 1st year

Series of lectures focused on the pathophysiologic particularities which require specific adaptation in the administration of anesthetic agents, and the specific monitoring modalities adapted for these patients.

Course objective :
Physiopathology and technology of anaesthesia-intensive care

Higerlight the pathophysiologic particularities of a person with a surgical process, under general or regional anesthesia, in the supine position

Techniques of locoregional anaesthesia, 1st year

To learn how to perform these techniques with knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages of each.

Anaesthesia and Intensive Care applied to particular cases : child, pregnant woman, old people, diagnostic and/or therapeutic intervention, day hospital, ... 1st year

To learn the specificities of these types of patients.

Prerequisites :
Physiopathology and technology of anaesthesia-intensive care

Strong notions of cardiovascular, respiratory, neurocerebral, renal, digestive, metabolic, neurovegetative and neuromuscular physiology of the human in the standing position.

Techniques of locoregional anaesthesia, 1st year

Strong notions of human anatomy, pharmacology and physiology

Anaesthesia and Intensive Care applied to particular cases : child, pregnant woman, old people, diagnostic and/or therapeutic intervention, day hospital, ... 1st year
