Course contents :  -Principles of a research and development methodology applied in the cropping systems of the intertropical environment
-Case studies of various agroecological situations in the tropics
-development of a project in crop husbandry by the student, with the description of the environment, the constraints, the strategy already applied, the solutions to improve the situation and the prospects
Course objective :  to develop a project of crop husbandry in tropical regions, taking into account the physical, biological and socioeconomical environment of a well targeted zone.To point out the constraints, the solutions and the prospects
After completing the course the student is expected to
-design research methodologies to improve tropical cropping systems
-criticize thematic and systemic research in tropical crop husbandry
-develop a project of experimentation trials aimed at improving tropical crop husbandry
