Course contents :  Organography of grasses
Physiology of forage plants: germination, growth and reproduction
Agrostology of the principal forage species in tropical environments
Course objective :  Give the students the basic knowledge for fodder crop cultivation and a description of the main forage resources in tropical regions. After completing the course the student is expected to - to master the organography and the physiology of the grass - to know the main grass species and their characteristics related to the different tropical regions where they can be found - to establish and manage fodder crops in these regions
Prerequisites :  -- BV101 - Botany

-- GP201 - Pedology
