| Course objective : | To approach in their diversity the main farming systems of the world, as resulting from ecological features and historical, political, socio-economical and technological evolutions; to assess the farming systems on bases of their productivity, stability, autonomy and sustainablity. After completing the course the student is expected to - Understand how function agriculture in the world; - Analyse a farming system in function of main factors which determinate or influence it; - Give a critical interpretation on the functioning of agricultural systems. |
