| Objectif du cours : |
- To learn how to operate a nuclear reactor
- To seek the safe limits of operation of a nuclear reactor
- To study specific problems of measurement and control in nuclear reactors
- To obtain knowledge on nuclear reactor safety under accidental conditions emphasis is on PWR technology

- It is advised that this course is taken after the following ones, because a number of topics in these courses are assumed known to the student:
- Nuclear Energy: introduction (must)
- Introduction to Nuclear Physics (advised)
- Nuclear Reactor Theory (advised)
- Nuclear Thermal-hydraulics (advised)
