Plecoptera
Trichoptera
Orthoptera
Odonates
Dictyoptera
Nevroptera
Hemiptera
Homoptera
Coleoptera
Diptera
Lepidoptera
Hymenoptera
Course objective :  Contribute to basic training by providing the student with disciplinary skills and techniques related to biology and insect systematics
After completing the course the student is expected to
-Demonstrate sufficient knowledge of biology and ecology of insects
-Be able to identify at least 15 orders and 100 families of insects using an identification key

Assessment :  Written examination (80%)
Personal report (20%)
