Course objective :  Problem of democratic processes is seen each year through the study of a definite thematic. During the academic year 2009-2010, it will be theory of value changes at international level, through the work of Ronald Inglehart.
Prerequisites :  Being able to read sociological literature in english. Being able to read and interpret simple statistical tables and figures.
Organization :  Students are supposed to read a part of a book and to prepare a lecture on their reading. The teacher or an assistant helps preparing the lecture.

Evaluation of students'work is made on basis of their lecture and the participation to the general discussions.

There's no examination but presence at the seminars is mandatory.

ATTENTION : in order to be able to manage the workshop, attendance will be limited to 30 students.
