| Course contents : | This course relates to the fundamental processes of impression formation and more particularly the impact of stereotypes and prejudices on our judgement of others. After a short recall of the basic concepts, the course will consider successively the various stages of judgement formation : stereotype activation, application and use of stereotypes and finally the possible inhibition or suppression of stereotypes. This course content relies on empirical articles recently published in the scientific literature. |
