Course contents :  1. Mechanisms of decision making and competences in E.U. Allowance principles.

2. introduction and evaluation of Lisbo's strategy

3. Open coordination method applied to employment in E.U. states

4. Diversity and convergences of E.U. employment politics (training). European regulation about work conditions.

5. Criticizing flexibility at work and analysing the flexicurity concept. Case studies
Course objective :  Introduction to the decision mechanisms in E.U. emphazing on employment and employment boosting through training.

Introduction to the diversity of practice in E.U. states.
Prerequisites :  skill and competences for internet bibliographic search. Good knowledge of English
Written notes :  personal research guided by official texts and recommended books
Assessment :  oral exam
