Course objective :  To build a foundation in mechanics (statics and dynamics) : presentation of general methods and application of these methods to practical engineering problems.
After completing the course the student is expected to
- Construct free-body diagrams
- Establish and solve the equilibrium equations to find reactions and internal forces
- Establish and solve the equations of motion for particles and rigid bodies
Prerequisites :  -- PH101 - General physics
-- MA101 - General mathematics (first part)
