| Course contents : | The course presents advanced models of production management. It contains the following subjects: aggregate production planning models, lot-sizing models, hierarchical production planning models, Kanban policies, sequencing and scheduling problems. |

| Course objective : | C1. Deepen knowledge in production and inventory management.
C1. Learn new models and techniques used to manage production and material flows.
P2. To be able to solve frequently faced problems of production management.
P3. To be able to recognize the situations where production management techniques can be used as decision making tools and to interpret correctly the conclusions which can be derived using these techniques.
C4. To be able to make critical analysis if these different techniques.
C4. Understand the advantages and limitations of these kinds of approaches for real life applications. |
