| Course contents : | The course has a C1 CEFR level (for all language skills: listening and reading comprehension, writing, speaking and lecturing).
- It continues the development of reading, data gathering, and note-taking using texts or sets of texts (as started in the English Level A and English Level B courses).
- It also focuses on research, analysis and synthesis, and report-writing capacities as well as oral understanding and presentation skills.

- allow students to analyze and synthesize English scientific literature,
- allow students to follow oral presentations in English, take accurate notes, and synthesize them,

| Prerequisites : | English Level B (taught in the second year of the Bachelor's Degree in Sciences).

| Workshops : | The course features about 25 classes.
Each class requires a long preparation which is essential and mandatory. There are no ex cathedra lectures but rather language seminars in which students will be asked to take part regularly and actively.The course features about 25 classes.

| Organization : | The in-class course is taught to 25 to 35 students for two hours each week.
