Course objective :  Fundamental aspects and modelling of soils physic particularly about water and solute transfer in unsaturated soils and about water soil plants system.
After completing the course the student is expected to
-characterise solid phase of soils,
-characterise liquid and gaseous phases and their relations
-measure water moisture in soils
-use and discuss results
-measure water retention curve and discuss about its agronomical relevance
-caracterise water movements in saturated soils
-caracterise water movements in unsaturated soils
-explain main water soil plants modelling schemes
