Course contents :  - Analysis of the potential adaptation of the production systems towards a safe and efficient use of natural and/or energy ressources;
- Analysis and hierarchization of the environmental risks related to specific plants , commodities and/or cultural practices;
- Analysis of the environmental risk in relation to commercial constraints;
- Participation to field / farm control sessions.
Course objective :  - Analysis of the impact of legal and societal rules/constraints with regard to environmental risks on the horticulture production chain.
- To categorize environmental risks associated to horticultural practices and other sector of activities.
After completing the course the student is expected to
- Interpret and synthetize european and regional legal rules as well as societal constraints
- Hierarchize the ecological and economical risks in relation to pratices
- Conceive alternatives and/or new options of management.
Prerequisites :  -- PP201 - Bases of phytopathology
Organization :  Lectures : 12h
Seminars : 12h
Written notes :  Technical and legal texts provided to students at lecture or field sessions.
Assessment :  Oral examination (60%)
Personal report (40%)
