| Course contents : | The first part of the course is a broad survey of the main aspects of Belgian diplomatic history (evolution of international status, alliances vs. neutrality, Congo affairs, influence of individual actors). The second part is a thorough analysis, changing each year, of one aspect or phases of Belgian foreign relations. |

| Course objective : | To provide a better understanding of Belgium's position in foreign relations through a study in deep of chosen cases. |
