Course contents :  Survey of the history and civilisation in the Bourgogne, from Philip the Bold to Philip the Fair (1364-1506), with particular stress on the gradual accretion of several principalities, including the various Low Country states, into the nucleus of the original Bourgogne. In 2009-2010, the Burgundian military army and life will be especially studied, by the critical analysis of scientific articles.
