| Course contents : | Introduction to research, reading, criticism, interpretation, and use of sources (written) from the modern period; application of this instruction through study of a number of documents and through working on them; writing of a number of short papers. |

| Course objective : | At the end of the year, the student will be able
- to do research in Library about specific and well-focused topics
- to understand and analyze sources of different kinds
- to present orally the result of his/her research
- to communicate in writing the result of his/her research
- to review a book of History

| Workshops : | Bibliographical practices will be organised during the year (little groups and schedule to set up) |
