Course contents :  This year's course is dedicated to the study of Roman painting.
Course objective :  The objective is to acquire an in-depth understanding of the techniques, styles and iconographic repertoire of painters from the Republican era until the end of the Empire.
Prerequisites :  Basic understanding acquired in 2nd Bac.
Workshops :  none
Organization :  30 hours of lectures in the first term. The course will include Powerpoint slides. The course will take place on Thursdays from 9am to 11am in S100.
Written notes :  There is no syllabus anticipated. Illustrations will be available on the web.
Assessment :  Oral examination.
