Course contents :  - Basics of technical design
- Use of computer-aided design (AUTOCAD) software to model parts and assemblies
- Design project: functional scheme, solutions searching, detailed analysis of one solution, dimensioning, drawing
Course objective :  The student should be able to use computer aided design software to prepare 2D and 3D models. He will use this expertise to conduct a design project.
After completing the course the student is expected to
- design an assembly on basis of technical specifications
- use of computed aided design software (AUTOCAD) to represent the solution (3D and 2 D views)
Prerequisites :  -- ME208 - Mechanical engineering design
-- ME207 - Kinematics and dynamics of machines
Organization :  Lectures : 6h
Practical Works : 27h
