| Course objective : | Sustainable management of tropical moist forests
After completing the course the student is expected to
·Be able to identify vegetation types by using botanical surveys.
·Be able to evaluate logging impacts.
·Be able to organise multipurpose inventories.
·Be able to implement game management plan.
·Be able to elaborate management plans for community forests and logging concessions.
·Be able to propose reduced impact-logging techniques.
.be able to integrate social aspects.
·Be able to advise logging companies about certification process. |
