Course contents :  1.Meaning of the course

- to allow the young business undertakers and creators to know the financing needs of their activity (financial planning);

- to make their choice easier with a better knowledge of the products;

- to better their negotiation skills with credit institutions.



2. Contents:

- Diagnosis of the financial needs of the company

- Setting of a financial planning

- Long term financing sources

- Financing with shareholder's equity

- Financing with external funds

- Public aids

- Financing of the exploitation cycle

- Financing of foreign trade deals

- Guarantees
Course objective :  At the end of this course the students will be able to:



-give proof of their acquired knowledge about the different financing techniques of a company (C1);

- to explain the different aspects of the financing of a company (P2);

- to analyse, with a case study, the financing needs of a given company, at a particular moment of its life (creation, growth,restructuring,....) (C3-C4);

- to present the chosen solutions, so long as they are realistic as well for the lender as for the borrower (P3)

A3 Cases study:preparation of two cases by the students (feed-back)

A2 'Assistant questioning' hours : questions and answers to prepare the cases
