Course contents :  Specially dedicated to Foreign Law students admitted to the University of Liège under the Socrates Scheme, the course aims at considering some aspects of Belgian Private Law. After a brief introduction, the analysis encompasses :

- rights on movables and real estate property.

- construction law.

- belgian law in relation with electronic commerce.
Course objective :  The course's main purpose is to shed light on some aspects of Belgian Private Law, especially Family Estate and Insolvency matters. It also provides an opportunity to deepen the Law terminology in French.
Prerequisites :  Dedicated to Socrates Law students, this course requires no particular prerequisite, except the general condition of a sufficient knowledge of the French language.
Organization :  The course consists as a rule in lectures given on the different subjects. Students will sometimes required to read articles prior to class. In any case, students are warmly encouraged to participate in class discussion.
Written notes :  Students are provided with a detailed outline of the course.
Assessment :  Assessment will be by a written exam organised in January.
