Course contents :  RNA and proteins:transcription in procaryotes and eucaryotes, regulation of gene expression, global gene expression analysis, protein synthesis and post-translational modifications,cell signalling.
Course objective :  A study of the functioning of the genome
After completing the course the student is expected to
understand basic knowledge linked to transcription, tanslation and signaling pathways.
Prerequisites :  Basic knowledge in general and organic chemistry
