Course contents :  The Workshop-Project course is at the core of the training of the future graduates in Landscape Design as it is designed to let students acquire theoretical knowledge as well as take part in the practical project.
The study program is organized so that students are exposed to simple notions first, then to ever more complex syntheses, and finally to global projects involving all the main theoretical and practical notions learned during their studies. The course aims at helping students, regardless of their previous training or of their personal interests, to acquire knowledge about the landscape design project, but also at opening their minds and at thinking critically.
The workshop includes 4 projects of increasing complexity sequenced as such :
- Reading of the site and sector analysis (research for and analysis of various documents, e.g. historical, urban documents) ;
- Diagnosis : Defining the site deficiencies and potential ;
- Programming : Zoning map ;
- Formal development : Plastic approach and formal development of the zoning map.
All the assignments start with an on-site visit and are continued with work in the library and in the workshop.
Course objective :  - Identifying and acquiring space reading and describing tools applied to a site;
- Identifying space structuration and representation means;
