| Course contents : | Grass organography Germination, growth and reproduction physiology of forage plants (grasses especially) Agrostology of the principal forage species in tropical regions |

| Course objective : | Giving the students the farming basic knowledge necessary to the fodder crop production and describing the principal forage resources in tropical regions. After completing the course the student is expected to - to master the organography and the physiology of the grass - to know the main grass species and their characteristics in the different tropical regions - to establish and manage fodder crops in these regions |
